History

Child protection services have been present in our community since 1892. The Society as we know it today, “Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society,” was created as a result of the amalgamation of societies serving Haliburton, Victoria and Peterborough Counties and the City of Peterborough on January 11, 1966.
