Home Study

SAFE is a home study methodology designed to evaluate families either for adoption, foster care or kinship care approval. SAFE stresses the importance of respectfully engaging families in a strengths-based, mutual evaluation process.

The home study is a thorough process that involves several interviews within your home. This provides opportunity for further discussion on fostering and how it will fit for your family.

A home safety checklist is also completed during this process.
