Board Appoints New Executive Director

The Chair of the Kawartha Haliburton Children’s Aid Society’s Board of Directors, Tim McLaren, is proud to announce the appointment of a new Executive Director, Jennifer Wilson. The appointment takes effect February 6, 2012.

Ms. Wilson is a dynamic leader, with 22 years' experience in the child welfare sector, including 4 years as Local Director/Director of Service at the Children’s Aid Society of the Districts of Sudbury and Manitoulin.

“After conducting a comprehensive search, the Board of Directors has chosen an individual who will bring renewed leadership to the agency,” says Mr. McLaren.

Ms. Wilson has a broad range of experiences in child welfare and children’s mental health.  Ms. Wilson has held numerous volunteer and leadership positions at both the community and provincial level.

Kawartha Haliburton Children’s Aid Society Interim Executive Director, Suzanne Geoffrion, will continue in her role until the transition to new leadership is complete.
