The Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Foundation is Seeking New Board Members:

Kawartha Haliburton Children’s Foundation is currently seeking applications for new members to join our Board of Directors.  We are looking for strategic thinkers, local leaders, and enthusiastic communicators, who are passionate about making a difference in their local community.  We strive to have a diverse board with a wide variety of skills, backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, we welcome everyone to apply.

The Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Foundation Board is made up of a great group of Directors who are dedicated to supporting the efforts of the Foundation with their oversight, new ideas, and governance.  You would join this dedicated group in attending 9 board meetings a year and participating in one of our committees (Executive, Governance, Finance, or Resource Development).  Traditionally (when Covid doesn’t prevent us), there are exciting fundraising events throughout the year hosted by the Foundation, in which Directors are invited to attend and help build community awareness for the Foundation while raising funds to support children, youth, and families who are involved with the Children’s Aid Society. This is a volunteer position, that comes with lots of ‘feel-good’ rewards.
