Are you looking to make a difference in your community? Kawartha Haliburton Children’s Foundation is inviting applications for new members to join our Board of Directors. We are seeking strategic thinkers, local leaders, and enthusiastic communicators who are passionate about making a positive, local impact.
Joining the Board of Directors of the Kawartha Haliburton Children’s Foundation offers the incredible opportunity to support and raise funds for the enrichment of children, youth, and families involved with the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society. Your involvement will help ensure that these individuals can thrive and flourish.
Details:
- The board comprises a dedicated group of directors who support the Foundation’s efforts through their oversight, innovative ideas, and strong governance.
- Directors attend nine board meetings annually and serve on one of the following committees: Executive, Governance, Finance, or Resource Development.
- The Foundation hosts exciting fundraising events throughout the year, inviting directors to attend and help raise community awareness.
- Board Director is a volunteer position with many ‘feel-good’ rewards.
- We strive for a diverse board that encompasses a range of skills, backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences.
