The 21st annual Dream Ball was a very successful fundraising event for children receiving services from the Kawartha-Haliburton Children\u2019s Aid Society.<\/p>\n
The theme was an \u201cEvening in Paris\u201d and the Victoria Park Armoury was decked out in Parisian charm where 272 guests enjoyed great food and danced to the cool sounds of Kim & Co. They were entertained by a dance troop of very talented young women from the Lindsay Dance Studio and they also enjoyed an exhilarating live auction which raised $4900!<\/p>\n
There were 105 silent auction items and services which helped raised over $20,000 for the children to attend camp next summer! Also we had a draw for a trip for two to Paris which was won by Loreen Harris of Lindsay \u2013 the draw raised $3350 for the camp program!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
