Supports are also provided to former in-care youth transitioning to independent living.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Summer Camp Office Coordinator supports the foundation\u2019s Executive Director in the smooth organization, coordination and booking of Summer Camp opportunities for children involved with the Kawartha-Haliburton Children\u2019s Aid Society.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Summer Camp Office Coordinator is responsible for working with Kawartha-Haliburton Children\u2019s Aid Society Staff to coordinate the enrolment, registration and communication for youth and children involved with the Kawartha-Haliburton Children\u2019s Aid Society in a variety of summer camp programs. This is an office position.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The summer Camp Office Coordinator must adhere to strict confidentiality requirements. Interaction will be with staff at the Kawartha-Haliburton Children\u2019s Aid Society, interaction will not be directly with the youth and children involved with the Kawartha-Haliburton Children\u2019s Aid Society.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Primary Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Summer Camp Office Coordinator will perform a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>communicating to Kawartha-Haliburton Children\u2019s Aid Society staff about available camps for registration<\/li>\n<li>processing camp applications from Kawartha-Haliburton Children\u2019s Aid Society workers<\/li>\n<li>ensuring the completeness of forms<\/li>\n<li>emailing the applications\/communication to applicable camps<\/li>\n<li>maintaining a record of the cost of all registrations<\/li>\n<li>ensuring the summer camp costs stay within the foundation\u2019s budget<\/li>\n<li>ensuring all invoices are accurate before forwarding them for payment<\/li>\n<li>communicating to Kawartha-Haliburton Children\u2019s Aid Society staff all necessary communication from the camps<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>*This position is funded through a Canada Summer Jobs Grant. Interaction will be with staff at the Kawartha-Haliburton Children\u2019s Aid Society, interaction will not be directly with the youth and children involved with the Kawartha-Haliburton Children\u2019s Aid Society. &nbsp; Primary Duties and Responsibilities The Summer Camp Office Coordinator will perform a wide range of duties including some or all of the following: communicating to Kawartha-Haliburton Children\u2019s Aid Society staff about available camps for registration processing camp applications from Kawartha-Haliburton Children\u2019s Aid Society workers ensuring the completeness of forms emailing the applications\/communication to applicable camps maintaining a record of the cost of all registrations ensuring the summer camp costs stay within the foundation\u2019s budget ensuring all invoices are accurate before forwarding them for payment communicating to Kawartha-Haliburton Children\u2019s Aid Society staff all necessary communication from the camps &nbsp; \u00a0 Qualifications *This position is funded through a Canada Summer Jobs Grant.
