Bethan Bates joined the Foundation in 2025. She is a charitable sector administration and operations professional who is passionate about working with young people to help them achieve their goals.
She holds a BA(Hons) degree in English Literature and History from Prifysgol Abertawe and spent a year as an exchange student at Trent University. She has experience working as the Administration Coordinator for the Kawartha World Issues Centre and is a board member for the Community Foundation of Greater Peterborough. She also is a contributing writer for various local newspapers.
In her free time, she enjoys reading everything from romance fiction to historiographic monographs; spending time by the water; and cheering on the Peterborough Petes!
