Bethan Bates joined the Children’s Foundation in 2024. She is an experienced charitable sector administration and operations professional who is passionate about working with young people to help them achieve their goals.
She holds a BA(Hons) degree in English Literature and History from Prifysgol Abertawe and spent a year as an exchange student at Trent University.
In addition to her work at the Children’s Foundation, she is a sitting board member for the Community Foundation of Greater Peterborough and a local news reporter for kawarthaNOW.com. Through her work, writing, and volunteering, Bethan is dedicated to advocating for women’s and children’s rights.
In her free time, she can be found doing yoga, reading, or cuddling with her cats.
