Our Mission Statement
Engaging and collaborating with the communities to support and invest in essentials and life-enriching experiences for children, youth and families involved with the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society.
Our Goals
Founded in 1983, the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Foundation is a registered charity that is dedicated to working in collaboration with donors and the community to support and raise funds to provide essential items and life-enriching experiences for children, youth and families involved with
the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society. We encourage and enable children and youth involved with the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society to achieve their full potential by providing support for a wide variety of life-enriching programs, experiences and essential items; including -extracurriculars, sport and art programs, summer camp and bursary support for post-secondary education plus supports for youth transitioning to independent living, backpacks, cribs, grocery gift cards and more. We aim to help fill the gap, so these children can have the same life-enriching experiences as their peers that help foster feelings of inclusion, belonging and build self-confidence.
