Youth Living Independently

Every year the Foundation is committed to providing  gift cards to youths aged 16 – 25 transitioning from Foster Care to living on their own.

It is often a struggle for these youth and without supports, many end up on the streets.  Through this program, KHCAS social workers continue to remain in contact with these youth to ensure that they receive essential services.  In addition, three times a year the Foundation provides an allotment of gift cards to assist with groceries, clothing and  personal hygiene products.
