Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Foundation is Seeking a New Fundraising and Events Coordinator

Are you looking for a way to make a difference by supporting children, youth and families in your community? Joining the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Foundation as our Fundraising and Events Coordinator may be the perfect opportunity for you. In this role you will be working with donors and our community to help provide enriching opportunites and essential items for children, youth, and families involved with the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society.

Kawartha Haliburton Children’s Foundation is currently seeking applications for a Fundraising and Events Coordinator based out of our Lindsay office.  We are looking for a relationship builder who is action oriented, an enthusiastic communicator and someone who is passionate about making a difference in their local community.

Founded in 1983, the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Foundation is a registered charity that is dedicated to working in collaboration with donors and the community to support and raise funds for essential items and enrichment activities for children, youth, and families involved with the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society.

Through a variety of programs, we positively impact the lives of 1000+ children, youth and families annually, who are working with the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society. We aim to help develop children’s self-esteem, confidence and build feelings of inclusion by providing funding and support for essential items and life enriching activities.

About Us: The Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Foundation is dedicated to working in collaboration with donors and the community to raise funds for enrichment activities and essential items for children, youth, and families involved with the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society’s. Our traditional programming includes funding for summer camp, post-secondary bursaries, cribs and other child saftey items, after-school recreational programs, back to school backpacks, gift cards for youth transitioning to independent living and seasonal gift giving for children living in Peterborough County, the City of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton County.
