The Kawartha-Haliburton Children's Foundation, in conjunction with the Peterborough & Kawarthas Association of Realtors is proud to once again host their annual 2017 Santa’s Sleigh at Walmart on Chemong Road in Peterborough. Once again, shoppers are asked to choose a child's name from the Santa's Sleigh board, do a little shopping and drop the gift or gifts off in Santa's Sleigh. Once purchased, the toys are delivered by Kawartha-Haliburton Children's Aid Society Social Workers for the children to open on Christmas Day.

Many thanks to the Kawartha-Haliburton Children's Aid Society staff and their families who helped us give out candy at the Peterborough Santa Claus Parade tonight. Thank you to The Wolf 101.5 FM 1005 Fresh Radio and CHEX TV 60 years for inviting us to walk with the Community Cruiser once again this year to help us promote our Santa's Sleigh accepting donations until Dec 13.

We gratefully accept baby sleepers as part of our Sweet Dreams Program. Retired executive officer of the Peterborough and the Kawarthas Association of Realtors, Carolyn Mills began the Sweet Dreams program, in 2011. Sweet Dreams provides comfortable pyjamas, bedding and pillows to the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Foundation to be given to children in our community who are receiving assistance from the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society.

Today we will be presented with a very generous donation from the Rexall Foundation. The donation will allow for us to send many children receiving services from the Kawartha-Haliburton Children's Aid Society to camp this summer! We truly appreciate this amazing generosity!
