Reporting to the Service Manager, the Supervisor has the responsibility for ensuring the consistent day-to-day implementation of the Society’s mission and vision in providing services to families. The role of the Supervisor includes providing clinical supervision to staff, adherence to policies, procedures and standards; providing input in the planning and delivery of service from the team perspective, program development, maintaining effective working relationships with the community for service delivery purposes; supervising workers within the context of the Collective Agreement and authorizing expenditures.

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
B.S.W. and 5 years Child Welfare Supervisory experience, preference M.S.W. and 5 years Child Welfare Supervisory experience. Will consider Master’s Psychology, Master’s Counselling with 5 years Supervisor Child Welfare experience and undergrad degree/diploma in social work.
