Ontario’s children’s aid societies serve communities across the province. As Ontario becomes more diverse, child welfare agencies are interacting with consumers from many different cultural and linguistic backgrounds. In recognition of this, the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society has identified Diversity is a priority Value within our Strategic Plan. Meeting the diverse needs of families and children within their communities requires services that are culturally, ethnically and linguistically appropriate. Building a network of service partnerships supports us to better support families.
