Memorandum of Understanding with Nogojiwanong Friendship Centre

A joint service protocol between Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society and Nogojiwanong Friendship Centre was implemented to ensure a coordinated, culturally sensitive, and child-focused approach to work with urban Indigenous children and families. Through a collaborative approach to service delivery, both agencies must ensure that urban Indigenous families and children involved with child welfare receive services tailored to their needs as urban Indigenous people.
