Understanding Learning Disabilities

Learn about:

  • various types of learning disabilities
  • the language and numbers used in psychoeducational assessments
  • assessments of cognitive functioning, learning needs and test scores
  • the importance of working with the school
  • advocating for your child’s needs
  • appropriate strategies to help children have optimal learning experience

Two sessions:  One for Adoptive Parents, One for Kids (of all ages)
