Description

Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, the incumbent is responsible for preparing file disclosures including but not limited to records checks, file summaries, requests from other CAS agencies, requests from clients, former clients, legal representatives, court ordered file disclosures, requests from office of the Children’s Lawyers, community partners, and others.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor of Social Work Degree, consideration may be given to applicants who possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field and a Social Service Work Diploma with 2 years’ experience in child welfare.  Masters of Social Work would be considered an asset.  Knowledge of the CYFSA, 2017 and Ministry of Youth Services. Valid Driver’s License.
